Governor Palin Speaks in Anaheim at the RNC Victory Rally/Open Thread; UPDATED: Link to Live-Feed Added, Update: Speech Over
The RNC Victory rally in Anaheim doesn't actually start until 3 PM PST but I'm putting this thread up early anyway. Let us know if you plan on going in the comments. Andrew Breitbart and CA-47 Republican House candidate Van Tran will be in attendance. He is running against race-baiting Democrat Loretta Sanchez. In any event, here are some news items to keep you occupied until then:-Here were the reports from her speech in Sacramento yesterday evening.-Here is what John McCain told Terry Moran from ABC about Governor Palin.-Conservative New Media has more from her speech in San Jose at its Youtube channel.-From TLC: Sarah Palin's Alaska Sneak Peek: The Mama Bear.-I have no idea whether these polls are credible or not but they are consistent with other polling that has been released. The polls show Fiorina leading, McMahon down 3, and Christine O'Donnell pulling to within single digits of Coons.-In case you were wondering, the crosstabs to the Delaware Rasmussen poll show O'Donnell effectively tied with Coons among indies and winning more crossover support from Democrats than Coons is winning from Republicans. The best sign from the Rasmussen poll is that the sample Rasmussen used found a much greater disparity between the percentage of the electorate that is comprised of Democrats and the percentage of the electorate that is comprised of Republicans than what it will be in all likelihood on election day.-In case you missed it, Matthew Continetti has an editorial out in tomorrow's Washington Post titled "The Five Myths about Sarah Palin."-The Vancouver Sun allegedly has some of the answers she gave in the Q&A portion of her event in Vancouver the other night.-PalinTV: Sean Hannity talks to Stephen Mansfield about "Sarah Palin's Faith: Four things that shaped former Alaskan governor into leader she is today."-Here is a MSNBC profile of a couple Palin supporters who support Jackie Walorski.-This is a great ad from Joe Miller, who has raised a lot more money than Lisa Murkowski since the primary ended:What's going on today? Remember that Governor Palin will be in Reno on Monday morning at a rally to support Sharron Angle.Update by Doug: PalinTV has a live feed from Anaheim here.Update #2: The speech is over.
